Transport from Munich to the conference location and back to Munich

The conference will be held in the historic abbey of Frauenwörth which is located around 100 km outside of Munich on a quiet island in the Chiemsee lake (http://www.frauenwoerth.de/english/. The official conference program starts on Tuesday, July 15^th at 13:30, after lunch. The island is easily accessible by car and public boat from Gstadt or Prien, or by public transportation from Munich (http://www.frauenwoerth.de/start/besucher/anreise/).

In addition, we offer free transport for all registered participants and accompanying persons from Munich to Frauenwörth and back by bus. The bus will leave on July 15^th at 8:45am sharp in front of the Munich City Hilton Hotel and guests will arrive around 11:30am for the conference opening at Frauenwörth. The registration fee to the conference is 375€ for participants and 300€ for accompanying persons. These fees include the accommodation at the conference location itself (July 15^th-18^th) as well as dinner and breakfasts and the social program.

For your convenience we reserved a limited contingent at the Munich City Hilton Hotel. You may book a single or double room for a one night stay from Monday, July 14^th to Tuesday July 15^th for 119€, including taxes. Those who plan to arrive on the morning of July 15^th to Munich airport and use the free transportation offered from the Munich City Hilton Hotel have to make sure to take a flight that arrives no later than 7:30 due to the (approx.) 1 hour ride from airport to the Hotel.

Free transportation from the conference location Frauenwörth to Munich will also be provided at approximately 17:00 on July 18^th. It is expected to arrive in Munich in front of the Munich City Hilton Hotel at approx. 20:00 where, again, we reserved a limited contingent. You may book a one night stay from Friday, July 18^th to Saturday, 19^th of July for 149€ using the following link

Both rates at the City Hilton apply per room for double rooms either with single or double occupancy. The contingents will be held until June 13^th/20^th, respectively.

Please note that the city of Munich will host a number of congresses and exhibitions starting on Friday 18^th of July which is why the rate for this particular date is higher than that for the night from the 14^th to the 15^th of July. We, therefore, strongly advise you to book a room at your earliest convenience.
