Travelling

By public transport:

The main campus of the Technische Universität München is situated close to Munich central railway station and benefits from good public transport connections:

  • Subway line U2, station Königsplatz or station Theresienstraße
  • Bus line 100, stop Königsplatz, Technische Universität or Pinakotheken
  • Streetcar (Tram) line 27, stop Pinakotheken

From central station you can reach the main campus by foot or by subway with line U2, direction Feldmoching, station Königsplatz or station Theresienstraße.

From Munich airportit takes approximately 40 minutes by rail from the airport to the central station using the S1 or S8 S-Bahn (suburban railway) line. From central station you can walk to the main campus or take the subway line U2, direction Feldmoching, station Königsplatz or station Theresienstraße.

By cab or own car simply tell the driver to bring you to the main entrance of the Technischen Universität München, Arcisstraße 21. If you travel by own car please mind that parking in the vicinity of the Technische Universität München is not free of charge.
